We have an issue wherein there are certain assets which were retired in June 2015. When the asset history sheet (s_alr_87011990) for the month of september is generated, it shows errors stating that "Transaction in area 01 contradicts the net book value rule" error message aa660, and "ordinary depreciation positive in area 01" error message aa624, and also "error during processing of asset xyz"...mesage ab076.
Funnily, the asset balance reports also show balances for these assets, even though they are retired.
Also, while these assets were retired in June beginning, the "posted values" tab in Asset Values (aw01n) show depreciation posted till May(i.e. when the last depreciation was posted) and then nothing till month of September, then suddenly in the month of October, it shows planned depreciation as 0, for no reason whatsoever, when actually that tab should not show any values beyond the month of May.
I will attach a few screenshots. There is a similar post in scn, dated 2009, but the user has not mentioned the solution therein.
