AB01 - Parallel depreciation area 10 is not posted AA565

Hi experts,

I’m trying to post a revaluation for fixed assets (Chile – inflation process) and I’m getting this error when try to post AB01 : “Parallel depreciation area 10 is not posted”

The company code currencies were defined:

2nd local currency = 40 - hard (USD)

3rd local currency = 50  - index based (EUR)

In OABT we have:

Parallel depreciation area 10 is not posted

Message no. AA565

Diagnosis

The asset to be posted does not manage parallel depreciation area 10, or transaction type  that you are using is limited to certain depreciation areas, and does not contain depreciation area 10. This is incorrect.

System Response

Posting is rejected.

Procedure

Check the asset and the transaction type.
