Posting Depreciation for the previous months
Dear SAP Experts,
This query is linked to the thread above but for previous fiscal year.
(Checked couple of stuff on the AFAB . AW01N Transactions but no help).
- Our Financial Year in AU is from JUL 2015 - JUN 2016.
- Some projects were completed in last Financial Year but capitalized in current Financial Year.
- For the assets capitalized in current financial year, with completion date of last financial year, we want the amount of depreciation to be posted in the current Financial year for each asset be calculated from the capitalized date of last Financial year.
- For example if an asset is created in November 15 with a completion or capitalized date of Dec 14, we want the depreciation posted in November 15 to be total of for the 5 months (July – Nov) of this financial year and 6 months from last financial year(Dec – June 15).
This is not happening at the moment.Can someone please advise us as to what we need to do to have this happen.
